Update 1.0 (Aug 07, 2020)
-Website created as "www.butterflyworldnepal.blogspot.com".
-All photographed butterfly species with details added.
-Two pages each for Sajan and Anisha created and users could toggle between the two.
-Toggle buttons for butterfly families created.


Update 1.1 (Jan 23, 2023)
-Premium domain "www.butterflyexplorers.com" registered.
-Beyond Nepal section added for butterflies photgraphed out of Nepal.
-Blog and FAQ sections added.
-Recently Added section added in the Home page.
-Individual pages for New Mexico and Texas butterflies added; those of subsequent locations would be added in later updates.


Update 1.2 (September 24, 2023)
-Copyright watermark removed from photos while still maintaining copyrights to the authors.
-Separate pages and progress bars for Sajan and Anisha merged into one.
-Individual pages for several butterfly species created.
-Acknowledgement footer modified.
-Home and Updates button added in the footer.
-Some minor bugs fixed.


Update 1.3 (January 10, 2024)
-All images are distributed under the Creative Commons license CC BY-NC 4.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/).
-Butterfies of Panama page updated.
-Butterflies of Florida page created.
-Geographical co-ordiantes given along with the locations of the images photographed.
-CVs added to the authors' profiles.
-Dates of each updates added.


Update 1.4 (January 11, 2024)
-Width of the website increased to remove blank spaces on the sides while viewing on larger devices.
-Text-sizes adjusted on phones, ipads, and desktops.
-Ipad (or similar device) users can now click on the images to get a full-size view on the same page. This feature was limited to desktop only earlier.
-The position of the toggle bar of butterfly families on the right is now absolute and not relative.


Update 1.5 (January 20, 2024)
-Width of the slideshow bar increased to fit the screen.
-Acknowledgements section removed from the footer section and kept only as a link.
-Species of the Week section created on footer that features a new butterfly species every week.
-Minor bugs fixed.


Update 1.6 (March 16, 2024)
-Third party lightbox added which supports several customizable features including captions. As a result, the new images will not have captions embedded in the files themselves but will appear as separate texts in the lightboxes.
-Recently added images in the homepage will appear in lightboxes along with captions.
-Cellphone viewers can also click on the images to get a full-size view on the same page.
-Minor bugs fixed.


Update 1.7 (March 27-April 6, 2024)
-Travel page updated. Images are sorted chronologically now.
-Footer design modified.
-"Species of the Week" section changed into "Featured Species".
-Minor bugs fixed.


Update 1.8 (April 11, 2024)
-"Best and Rarest" section added into the homepage which features some of the best and rarest species we have photographed.
-"Featured Video" section added into the homepage which periodically features a new video from our Youtube channel.
-Width of the sections changed to fit the website more properly.
-Minor bugs fixed.


Update 1.9 (April 16-21, 2024)
-Slider showing different activities added to the homepage.
-"Explore" button now leads to the page with all the locations we have explored. Previously it led to the Nepal butterflies page only.
-"Beyond Nepal" button changed to "Explore" in the navigation section.
-Hover effect of images changed.
-Minor bugs fixed.
